Marsa Zwara is the sea port of Zwara town, a bussy coastal town, which has a small airpot, mainly used by the government and which will be develpoed into an international airport as part of Zwara free trade zone. Zwara is situated 110km west of Tripoli, and about 40 km east of the Tunisian border. The port is visited by about 50 ships a year.
