Brega, Elbrega or Elbriga is located in the Gulf of Sidrah (the Sirte Gulf), about 270km west of Benghazi city. The name is usually written as ” Marsa Elbrega Port” , which translates to “Port Elbrega Port ” . The port is used for loading general cargo and oil and petrochemical products.
